Fajita Pasta – Super Easy One-Pot Recipe

Fajita Pasta

They say, “There is no substitute to hard-work”. Now, that may be true for life in general, but certainly not in the kitchen.

I’m a huge fan of one pot recipes, and the one that I love the most is Fajita Pasta. It has Chicken, Cheese, and well, Pasta! So who won’t love it?

So let’s jump straight to the recipe.

Ingredients

  • Oil (3 Tablespoon)
  • Sliced Chicken (3 Breasts)
  • Sliced Bell Pepper (3 qty)
  • Onion (1 qty)
  • Salt (1 Teaspoon)
  • Pepper (1 Teaspoon)
  • Chili Powder (1 Teaspoon)
  • Cumin (1 Teaspoon)
  • Garlic Powder (1 Teaspoon)
  • Milk (1.5 lt)
  • Penne Pasta (500 g)
  • Pepper Jack Cheese (100 g)

Steps

Take a large bowl and heat the oil using high flame
Once the oil is heated, add chicken. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until the chicken is ready.
Remove the chicken from the bowl and add 3 sliced bell peppers to the remaining oil. You may want to use different colored peppers to make it look good
Added one medium sized sliced onion
Mix well and cook till the Onion becomes translucent
Put the cooked chicken back into the pot. Add salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder
Mix everything very well to make sure there are no lumps of spices in the bowl
Add Milk. Keep stirring and add some pre-cooked Pasta. Make sure it does not stick.
Once the Pasta is cooked and the milk has formed a thick sauce, you can add Cheese to it. Cook further until the cheese melts.
Add some seasoning on top and serve hot
